On-Mountain Day Care

The Children’s Center is a 2,500 square foot facility that is a fully licensed child care with or without ski lessons. All childcare staff are CPR and First Aid Certified to insure the safest environment for your little ones. We are committed to a low child-to-caregiver ratio that assures full attention to your child with non-stop activities, including arts, crafts, music, games, and even on-snow play time. You can enjoy the slopes knowing your child is having as much fun as you. 

2021/22 KinderKamp Season Passes

Perhaps a day here and there isn’t enough mountain-time for you and your future grom! Begin a passion for the slopes early on with our KinderKamp season passes. The pass program includes the flexibility to meet the constant changing needs of a small child (and their powder seeking parents!) combined with encouragement to get out there and enjoy everything our mountain has to offer.

  • Day care only (in diapers or out): $1600 
  • Day care and Ski Lessons (ages 4-6 only): $1900  
  • Up to 5 days of attendance each week 
  • Full day care with homemade snacks & lunch included 
  • Storage for ski gear and daily necessities 
  • Pre-Ski Program: KinderKamp offers time each day for children willing to get outside and explore the mountain environment engaging in balance exercises, snowshoeing, one-ski sliding, and simply just learning the sights and sounds of a ski area!

2021/22 KinderKamp Package
Day Care & Ski Lesson Program for ages 4 - 6

Part ski camp, part adventure camp. The Children's Center offers an all-day interactive experience. Our team of professional instructors combine ski lessons with a timely indoor recreation break where the kids get to play, create art, and relax in our licensed daycare. Ski rentals are available at the Children's Center so please arrive early to get all set up.  Reservations required.

  • $151 Full-day: Includes two lessons, all day flexible childcare, two snacks and lunch. 
  • $111 Half-Day: 4 hours total, includes one group lesson, childcare outside of lesson time, and lunch/snacks (if applicable.)
  • Lesson Times: 9:00am, 10:30am, 12:30pm, 2:00pm. Each lesson is 1 ½ hours, times vary depending on ability level

  • Need rentals for your little one? No problem! We can set them up right here for $22 plus tax. (Skis, boots and helmet included!) Please arrive by 9am to rent!

2021/22 Day Care Only

Ages 4 months - 6 years

Let our professional day care staff take care of everything. From infants, toddlers and more, Schweitzer's daycare facility provides quality, fun and adventure. Go on, enjoy the slopes; we’re having fun at daycare. Reservations required.

  • $95 Full-day (includes two snacks and lunch)
  • $75 Half-day (4 hours)                 
  • Pre-Ski Program: KinderKamp offers time each day for children willing to get outside and explore the mountain environment engaging in balance exercises, snowshoeing, one-ski sliding, and simply just learning the sights and sounds of a ski area!

2021/22 Lessons Only 

The whole family can register at the Ski & Ride Center for lessons & rentals. If you would like day care options as well please register at the Children's Center downstairs in the Lakeview Lodge. Other lesson times and rates are available.  For more information regarding lessons only, please call the Ski & Ride Center at 208.255.3070.

  • Ages 4-6: Private Lessons starting from $140.  (For more info on private lessons, click here!)
  • Ages 3 & under: Private Lessons starting from $85 per hours. Parent participation strongly encouraged.
  • $75 group lesson only (2 hours) for ages 4 - 6 years old. Available through the Ski & Ride Center.

  • Registration Form: All participants 
  • Infant Schedule: only for children still in diapers (pull ups or potty training will not need this form)
  • Allergy:  fill out if your child has a food allergy or sensitivity
