Cat Skiing

For a fabulous backcountry addition to your Schweitzer adventures, try cat skiing! There are 4,350 more acres to discover as you’re transported in Selkirk Powder’s comfortable 10-passenger snowcats. Typical tours include 8-12 runs while achieving up to 14,000 vertical feet in the west-facing bowls adjacent to the resort. Riders should be advanced intermediates or better, and be prepared to ski natural conditions in trees or powder-laden open fields and bowls.

A great activity for your extended family, small groups or for visitors who don’t want to ski—Selkirk Powder Guides’ snowmobile tours are the perfect choice!
